Top 50 Influencer Hot List

Method: The overall Athlete Influencer Score is composed of five weighted metrics: frequency (maximum 15), reach (maximum 60), engagement (maximum 50), fan demographic (maximum 75) and fan attractiveness (maximum 50).

Max score: 250.

While the Influencer Hot List powered by Zoomph is a cumulative score, the NFLPA can also evaluate social media behavior to help connect the right players with the right brands for partnerships and campaigns. This analysis can involve criteria like consistent activity, subject matter interests and audience segmentation.

Looking further into the list this year, the NFLPA and Zoomph spotlight the top 10 players based on three specific categories: frequency of social media posts, engagement around NFTs and gaming, and connection to Gen Z fans.

Top 10 Social Performance

Top 10 Frequency

Method: The Top Frequency ranking is made up of players who created the most content so far this year. Date range is January 1st, 2022 to July, 31st 2022 and sources are Twitter and Instagram.

Top 10 Gaming

Method: The overall Player Social score is comprised of four weighted metrics: frequency (maximum 15), reach (maximum 60), engagement (maximum 50) and fan attractiveness (maximum 75). Date range is January 1st, 2022 to July, 31st 2022 and sources are Twitter and Instagram.

Audience metrics were determined by Zoomph's consumer insights platform, which has a database of more than 350 million social profiles. Individual audiences were created for each player and analyzed based on their own social following. All audience demographic and psychographic data was anonymized prior to ingestion into Zoomph. Audience data is continually refreshed into the Zoomph platform.
