Overview
The Buffalo Bills finished this year ranked just outside the top 10 in their overall grade. They received high marks for the quality of their weight room and their strength coaches. Players also gave high marks to club owner Terry Pegula.
There are three issues where they significantly lag behind most other teams, the first of which is team travel. Less than half of the players who responded feel like they have a comfortable amount of personal space when traveling, which is the lowest for any team in the NFL. The players expressed frustration in their responses that the biggest people (the players) must sit in the smallest seats, while the coaches and auxiliary staff get to sit in first class. The second issue is that they feel there is still a lack of training staff, especially physical therapists, despite the fact that they hired an additional trainer last year. Players believe that not having enough training staff limits their ability to prepare and recover. Lastly, just 54% of players feel like they get an individualized plan from their dietician, which ranks 30th across the league.
