Overview

The Indianapolis Colts rank 22nd in our team surveys this year. The players rate their head coach strongly. The next highest category was the locker room, which the players believe has plenty of space.

Survey respondents consistently point to the need for the club to invest back in the workplace facilities and staff. The players responded that the training room is understaffed, making it difficult to get the best possible treatment to play and recover. The survey also highlighted issues with the weight room, which respondents believe lacks necessary equipment, and also with the strength coaches, pointing out that they are not getting the best possible individualized plans to maximize their performance.

Increasing the number of quality trainers/physical therapists, adding a sauna and providing daycare for the players’ families on gameday are examples of areas the players called out which should not be difficult to implement quickly if the team is looking to provide players with an improved workplace experience.
