Overview

The Chargers finished the year ranked 30th overall. The good news is that the team is close to finishing their brand-new practice facility; it is scheduled to open before the beginning of next season. As of now, the team is still located in a temporary facility that wasn’t built to be an NFL-caliber workplace.

The hope - and expectation - is that once the club’s new facility opens, it will improve their grades and rankings. There are two categories not directly tied to the facilities that players identify as priorities -- the first being the food program, which ranks last in taste and freshness. The second issue is the way the team travels, as the team continues the unique practice of sending equipment along with players and staff, which leaves the team sitting on the tarmac for an extended time waiting for the plane to be loaded or unloaded.
