Puppy Bowl Prep with Zay Flowers and Patrick Queen
Off the gridiron, Ravens teammates Zay Flowers and Patrick Queen tackle another passion together: their deep love for man’s best friend.
Both Flowers and Queen are dog owners and because of their appreciation for animals, they decided to team up with the NFLPA and Animal Planet for the 2024 Puppy Bowl. The annual event is celebrating its 20th year, featuring 131 adorable pups from 73 local shelters and rescues across the country.
Flowers and Queen were paired with the shelter Operation Paws for Homes from N. Chesterfield, VA, and used their social media prowess to showcase the available dogs and amplify the message of adoption.
"I got two dogs at home. They make you happy when you get home and they jump all over you. That's always good to have."
It didn’t end there. Several dogs that Flowers and Queen met caught their attention. Following their shoot, both players reached out to the shelter about adopting puppies.
