CARD COMMITTEE SUSPENDS CONTRACT ADVISOR DOGRA’S CERTIFICATION AND ISSUES FINE
The National Football League Players Association, acting at the direction of the Committee on Agent Regulation and Discipline (CARD) which is comprised of active NFL players, announced today that Contract Advisor Ben Dogra’s Certification as an NFLPA Contract Advisor has been suspended for a period of six (6) months and that he will be required to pay $25,000 for violations of the NFLPA Regulations Governing Contract Advisors (“Regulations”). The suspension will begin immediately. The payment is to be made to the Gene Upshaw Players Assistance Trust fund which assists former players in times of financial distress.
CARD is appointed pursuant to Section 6A of the Regulations.
