Jalen Reeves-Maybin Re-Elected as NFLPA President; New Player Leaders Join Executive Committee

San Diego, CA — The NFL Players Association’s Board of Player Representatives re-elected Jalen Reeves-Maybin as president of its union on Sunday. The nine-year linebacker will begin his second two-year term immediately.

“I'm honored that the Board has trusted me to continue serving as president,” said Reeves-Maybin, who played for the Chicago Bears last season. “There’s important work ahead, and I’m looking forward to continue advocating on behalf of our membership to protect our rights and advance our interests.”

Additionally, four new players were elected by the Board to serve on the Executive Committee:

  • Tanoh Kpassagnon (Treasurer), a nine-year defensive end who played last season with the Chicago Bears and previously served as an alternate player representative.
  • Jonathan Greenard, a six-year outside linebacker who previously served as an alternate player representative for the Minnesota Vikings.
  • Harrison Phillips, an eight-year defensive lineman who previously served as an alternate player representative for the New York Jets
  • Zaire Franklin, an eight-year linebacker for the Green Bay Packers who previously served as a player representative.

They will join returning Executive Committee members Oren Burks, Cam Heyward, Ted Karras, Case Keenum, Brandon McManus and Thomas Morstead, who were all re-elected on Sunday.
