What is the Rising Stars List?
Each offseason, the NFLPA releases its Rising Stars list, spotlighting 10 rookies and 10 veterans expected to deliver major impact in retail. These are the players poised to break out on the field and rise up the charts in officially licensed NFLPA player merchandise sales. All are contenders for the coveted year-end NFLPA Top 50 Player Sales List, the only verified ranking of all officially licensed products from retailers.
Who Makes the Cut?
It takes more than talent to make the list. Selection is based on a blend of performance and market momentum, including:
- Early demand from NFLPA partners for content and marketing
- Collegiate NIL exposure
- Participation in Rookie Premiere
- Support from strong team fan bases
- Social media reach and audience growth
- Product submissions from more than 85 NFLPA licensees
*To be considered for the Rising Stars list, veteran players must not have appeared on any previous quarterly or year-end NFLPA Top 50 Player Sales List.
