Pat Surtain II: #AthleteAnd Fashion Enthusiast
When Pat Surtain II steps onto the field, he’s all business. And when he steps off it? That’s when the All-Pro's creativity shines — through fashion.
The Denver Broncos star and reigning Defensive Player of the Year has quickly become one of the NFL’s most stylish young players, known for his clean, tailored looks and bold choices that reflect his confidence and culture. Whether it’s a designer fit on game day or a custom suit at a red carpet event, Surtain treats fashion as an extension of his identity.
“Fashion is a way for me to express who I am without saying a word,” Surtain explained. “It’s about confidence, individuality and showing up as your best self.”

Surtain’s love for fashion began his rookie season, and soon after he started learning from one of the best in the industry. His stylist, London Wilmot, works with dozens of notable professional athletes and high-profile celebrities like CeeDee Lamb, DeAndre Hopkins and Mike Epps.
For Surtain, fashion isn’t just a hobby—it’s a platform. It’s a way he tells his story, connects with fans and inspires the next generation to embrace every side of who they are. Whether he’s locking down receivers or turning heads with his style, he’s proving that being an athlete and a fashion lover aren’t mutually exclusive—they’re powerfully intertwined.
We sat down with Surtain for a deep dive into his passion for the fashion world. Keep scrolling to see the rest of the story.
Do you think there’s any crossover between football and fashion?
"For sure. Football and fashion both require confidence and attention to detail. Just like you study film and perfect your technique on the field, you put thought into how you present yourself off it. It’s all about making an impact, whether it’s with a big play or a bold fit."
Your dad was known for throwing on some stylish fits. Who has the better style between the two of you?
"My dad definitely had some looks...definitely had some style to him. I think I surpassed him though. He probably played a role in my interest in the fashion space. He liked to show his confidence through the outfits he wore just like I do."
How would you explain your style?
“I’d describe my style as clean, confident and versatile. I like to mix classic pieces with modern touches — something that feels timeless but still fresh. It’s all about balance and being true to who I am.”
What’s next for you in the fashion scene?
“I love traveling, it’s one of my favorite hobbies so I’m going to continue doing that. The more I travel and explore different cultures, the more I learn about fashion and think about new ideas for myself. I’d also like to walk in a fashion show to continue to build my brand and my image. I think the last thing for me is that I want to go to Met Gala — that would be a dream come true.”
Talk about your Football2Fashion fundraiser.
"Football2Fashion was a way for me to bring two of my biggest passions together—giving back and expressing myself through style. It wasn’t just about the clothes; it was about creating opportunities for underprivileged kids. Every dollar raised went toward S.T.E.A.M. rooms for Title I Denver Schools and making sure that all students have the same access to educational resources and opportunities."

What does AthleteAnd mean to you?
"To me, AthleteAnd is about embracing every part of who you are. I’m not just a football player—I’m a fashion lover, a traveler, someone who wants to inspire and give back."
Being an athlete doesn’t mean you have to stay in one lane. It means you have the platform to explore your passions and show the world all the layers that make you, you.”
