NOTES:

The biggest risers on the 2025 Hot List reflect steady momentum since the last NFLPA Influencer Hot List, showing how consistent storytelling and real-life moments build influence over time. Here are a few examples:

  • Lane Johnson’s climb from #34 to #7 underscores how championships and personal milestones amplify social impact. His Super Bowl win, recent engagement, and expanded off-field content helped humanize a veteran lineman position that is rarely spotlighted on socials.

  • George Kittle rose from #19 to #8 by fully leaning into fun and frequency. More regular posting, offbeat videos, must-listen podcast appearances, and content featuring his wife, Claire, strengthened his reputation as one of the league’s most entertaining personalities.

  • Christian McCaffrey’s move from #21 to #9 reflects the power of lifestyle storytelling. Following his marriage to Olivia Culpo and becoming a first-time dad, more frequent personal moments paired with brand collaborations expanded Christian’s presence from elite athlete to a pop culture figure blending performance, wellness and fashion.

  • Lamar Jackson jumped from #31 to #16 across the last two seasons, proving that influence is driven by resonance, not necessarily volume. While posting less frequently overall, his shift toward lighter, funnier, and more community-oriented content generated stronger engagement.

  • Amon-Ra St Brown’s rise from #44 to #35 underscores the power of authenticity. Unfiltered and fully himself, he’s built trust with fans and brands alike. Increased posting, strong brand partnerships and his growing podcast traction have deepened fan connections and expanded how audiences engage with his voice, all while playing on one of the league’s most exciting teams.

  • Cornerbacks and safeties are having a moment. Players like Cooper DeJean, Terrion Arnold, Sauce Gardner, Darius Slay, Tariq Woolen, and Xavier McKinney show that defensive backs thrive on social media by pairing swagger, humor, and style with top performance.

  • Offensive linemen are also breaking through. Lane Johnson and Creed Humphrey’s presence underscores a growing appetite for behind-the-scenes content from positions traditionally overlooked in marketing.

The NFLPA Influencer Hot List powered by Zoomph emphasizes impact over raw reach. While follower count contributes to visibility, rankings are driven by a proprietary Social Marketability Index that weighs organic posting, engagement rate, impressions, and follower interaction rewarding consistency, resonance, and audience connection.

Zoomph’s consumer insights platform analyzes anonymized audience data from more than 350 million social profiles, allowing the NFLPA to evaluate not only performance, but fit. This enables smarter alignment between players and brands based on interests, audience segmentation, and authentic engagement patterns, not just popularity.
