All vested players are entitled to monthly pension benefits at age 55 (normal retirement date) for your lifetime. Your pension benefit is determined by your credited seasons. For each credited season you earn, you earn more pension benefit credits. Your pension benefit credits represent a monthly payment at age 55 payable for your lifetime.

Example: PlayerX earned five credited seasons for the 2016 through 2020 seasons and is eligible for a benefit credit pension of $3,600 per month beginning at age 55 and payable for the rest of his life. ($660 for 2016, $660 for 2017, $760 for 2018, $760 for 2019, and $760 for 2020.
The amount you will receive depends on the pension benefit credits you have earned, when you choose to start receiving your retirement benefits, and the form in which they will be paid.
